Trinidad & Tobago’s Carnival is known the world over for its unique display of creativity in the form of costume, song, dance and steelband music.

Each Carnival, Trinidad and Tobago launches itself into the biggest outpouring of energy and creativity and invites the world to witness its masterpiece. Carnival is not a parade. To know it as this is to know it at its least. You don’t just stand on the side and watch it go by. You see it, hear it, smell it, taste it, breathe it and live it. For months before Carnival Monday and Tuesday, preparations get underway. For some people this is all that seems to matter. This is their expression of life.
